Our Mission
The mission of Higher Ground is to reach the hopeless and be a place of new beginnings.
We are a church that knows what it's like to struggle, to fight uphill battles all day long, and then lose them.
But we also know that life doesn't have to be one uphill battle after another. We know, from experience, that Christ brings hope!
There are hundreds of churches in the Sacramento area. And there are dozens of Apostolic Churches, too. But we hope you'll give Higher Ground a chance. We're a new, old-fashioned church in the heart of Sacramento.
We believe in the Power of God to transform lives, to "open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins" (Acts 26:18).
